Gleb Novikov

Researcher

Lucerne School of Computer Science and Information Technology (HSLU Informatik)

I'm a researcher in Data Science in the group of René Meier at the Lucerne School of Computer Science and Information Technology.

I received my PhD in Computer Science from ETH Zurich,  where I was lucky to be advised by David Steurer.

My Theory Research is on algorithmic aspects of Data Science, Machine Learning and High-Dimensional Statistics.  In particular, I'm interested in algorithms for estimation problems with provable guarantees, computational lower bounds, robust algorithms and outlier removal techniques. My Theory papers are listed in Publications. If you would like to know more about my Applied Research, please check Projects.

I like ballroom dancing and enjoy dancing with my wife, Elena. We have competed in and won multiple dance competitions in Switzerland, and we are currently dancing in Class C (Latin).
