I'm a researcher in Data Science in the group of René Meier at the Lucerne School of Computer Science and Information Technology.
I received my PhD in Theoretical Computer Science from ETH Zurich, where I was lucky to be advised by David Steurer.
My research is on algorithmic aspects of Data Science, Machine Learning and High-Dimensional Statistics. In particular, I'm interested in algorithms for estimation problems with provable guarantees, computational lower bounds, robust algorithms and outlier removal techniques.
I like ballroom dancing and enjoy dancing with my wife, Elena. We have competed in and won multiple dance competitions in Switzerland, and we are currently dancing in Class C (Latin).
